* March 12, 2012. Checking the air. It's funny, I probably see about 50 deer a day minimum, sometimes a dozen or more at a time. I don't get out of my vehicle because they would run like the wind so, no, I don't use a tripod. I'm in WV. all day and there is such an abundance of wildlife there. Eagles, hawks, deer, foxes, turkeys, coyotes, bear, mountain lions, and bobcat, it would not be surprising to see any one of these. My Granddaughter was looking at my photographs over the weekend and commented on how many wild animals I've photographed that are looking right into my camera lens, I said yeah, we had a moment and she said, you're like the animal whisperer... that was pretty funny.
