  • * 3/4/11   This photograph was accepted into the 78th Annual Cumberland Valley Photographic Salon at the Washington County Museum of Fine Art. The exhibit has been on view since January 22, 2011 and ends March 6, 2011. There were over 400 entries by amateur and professional photographers and 40 photographs were selected for the exhibit. The judge for the exhibition was William F. Stapp of Washington, D.C. Stapp was the founding curator of the Photographic Collection of the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery and now works as an independent curator. Stapp's exhibitions and publications have spanned the history of photography. The Washington County Museum of Fine Art  has been recognized as one of the finest small museums in the United States. It's collection contains over 7,000 works of art.

  • * December 15, 2011.The square in Chambersburg, PA. decorated for Christmas. Chambersburg was burned during the Civil War. All able bodied men were off fighting the war leaving only older men and women to fight the blaze. The town sustained considerable damage. I went to High School here.

  • December 13, 2011. Gargoyle in the mist. Gargoyles flank the entrance to Berkeley Castle in Berkeley Springs, WV. He's really not too scary... if you look closely he's wearing a Santa hat. The Castle looked very mysterious that night in the heavy fog, this is sooc. All the photographs that I took that night had this beautiful peachy tone, I didn't alter the color.
